Kyle Waldrep

Hey, friends!  My name is Kyle Waldrep, and I have the privilege of leading our Ascent Men’s Chapter alongside Preston Todd and Aaden Jones. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and after graduating from ESD and SMU, God stirred within me a passion to raise up the next generation of young men to know and experience the love of Jesus.

In addition to serving in Ascent, I founded and lead Dottid, a commercial real estate SAAS technology platform. I have had the blessing of being a volunteer YoungLife leader at St. Marks for 8 years and previously served as President of Young Leaders Board of Council For Life.

My heart is that the kids of Ascent would be known and loved by getting to have a mentor and person in their life who enables them to grow in the knowledge of the Lord and Scripture through that one-on-one relationship.  My favorite passage right now is 1 Peter 1:3-7, which says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the testested genuineness of your faith - more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested - may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
